We did extensive tests on which guitars strings we wanted on our guitars out the door. We tested them by putting the string through some rigorous tests like extreme bending and by over stretching the strings far beyond what a normal player could ever do stretching them with a tremolo. Tough strings! But not only tough, the tone and sustain, in our opinion, is far superior too. We won't mention the other guitars strings we used in the test but the Sfarzo strings out performed them all!
C.B. Perkins Co. is a third generation family business, with a guitar shop located in San Jose, California. The business began in 1923 when Charles Blaine Perkins, a music teacher, needed working instruments for his students. He began to learn the art of stringed instrument repair, or luthiery. After a while, he decided to open his own shop, and he taught his son Kent the trade as well. Charles and Kent began building their own guitars in the late 1960s, as well as doing guitar repair and customizing.
