Our Handcrafted USA built guitars are crafted from the finest material we can find. From the triple A maple tops to the the hand chosen Mahogany guitar bodies, from our hardware to the electronics, our handcrafted USA built guitars are manufactures entirely by hand. Building an instrument by hand and building it to our customers specifications insure our customers get the finest hand crafted instrument possible, an instrument that reflects the personality if the player. an instrument that fits the players playing style and an instrument that will become a pride of ownership.
By default, all our guitars are finished with waterbourn finishes to reduce hazardous odors to limit the health risks from serious carcinogenic exposure, and to weigh in the environmental considerations involved in the use of solvent-based lacquers. Waterbourn finishes have been proven to to equal that of Nitrocellulose lacquer. Unlike Nitrocellulose lacquer, waterbourn finishes over time, being more stable does not continue to shrink and crack like lacquer. Waterbourn finishes stay hard and flexible to give you the beauty of a clear gloss finish the life of the instrument.
We do, however, finish our guitars with Nitrocellulose lacquer at our customers request. Nitrocellulose lacquer is the finish of traditional guitars and over time will give the beautiful hue that vintage guitars are known for.
Our USA custom built guitars can be ordered standard as listed on the guitars spec page or can be with your requirements.* For example the AshCourt guitar is equipped with an ebony fingerboard, which enhances note attack and articulation. Ebony is a hard dense, dark black exotic wood that has commonly been regarded as a deluxe, upgraded option on electric guitars. Ebony is also extremely hardwearing, and more resistant to climate conditions and weather changes than many other fingerboard wood. Radius of the fingerboard, electronic components, nut material, tuners, right down to the volume and tone control knobs can be specified.

Ordering any custom handcrafted guitar requires a 50% "go ahead and build" fee before we begin building any custom guitar. The 50% deposit is applied to the total cost when the instrument is completed. Upon completion we will contact you and at that time the balance will be due before shipping the instrument to you. Of course, you have the option of picking up the instrument yourself or arranging any shipping method you would like at an additional fee. We ship UPS free within the continental USA.
*Changing specification on standard guitars may change the price of the instrument.
